Scripture Union is not a church.

We are a para-church organization seeking to

complement and supplement the ministries of the Churches.

We endeavor to work with the Churches, not against them, nor apart from them.

We endeavor to work with the Churches, not for them, nor under them.

Two Specific Mandates:

WE DESIRE THAT PEOPLE MAY KNOW GOD

AND MAKE HIM KNOWN…

Scripture Union is concerned with Evangelism and Discipleship,

which are the very basics of all Christian ministry.

Our mandate is to make the Gospel known

through direct outreach, as well as training in Evangelism;

and to encourage people to know God in the course of Discipleship

especially through daily Bible reading and prayer.

Scripture Union’s ministries reach out in a wholistic manner

to Children, Youths and their Families.

We recognize that young people are people in transition.

Children transit to become Youths, and youths transit to become adults,

often in the context of the Family.

Scripture Union Peninsular Malaysia has four Ministry Departments.

Through synergic partnerships between volunteers and staff,

we publish a variety of Bible Reading (QT) Notes, run a variety of camps,

conduct a variety of training events, produce a variety of resource materials;

reaching students and adults in the schools and churches with God’s Word.
